Bill validation is an important step in the management of energy. Our team carries out an initial review of current energy billing rates and usage profile, determining the most suitable market offer available. This involves checking current usage costs do not exceed the current market conditions, and checking that network tariffs, contract end dates and site classifications meet client energy requirements.
Once we have negotiated energy contracts our Customer Care team provide a full check on the first bill that clients receive, ensuring that the correct rates are being applied and that any tariff changes have been actioned correctly.
We encourage clients to review all bills in conjunction with our ongoing monthly metering reports and educate clients to spot usage anomalies or unseasonal “spikes” in consumption.
A ‘month by month’ bill check service is also available.
Managing the renewal of client agreements provides another opportunity to review client energy costs and negotiate up to date offers in line with current market conditions.
